Simon Goddard
Practicing Bikram Yoga since April 2006, Simon came
to the practice with an endurance athletic background;
as a competitive triathlete and distance runner. "I
used Bikram initially to compliment and supplement
gym workouts which I disliked enormously. Over a period
of 6/9 months I saw my body responded favourably to
a regular practice 3/4 times a week, and within a
year was determined to go to the next level and take
myself through teacher training. I emerged with a
new found desire to teach and share in the series;
knowing that countless benefits come to those that
simply come and do the yoga. While still engaged with
endurance sports, Bikram has become my primary workout;
for body and mind, providing a
greater sense of balance while affording me greater
strength and flexibility."
